This Isenhour home is strikingly different than his other designs on Jesselin and Blueberry, but once the time frame is established it makes total sense. A late addition to one of our favorite Lexington streets, this Jesselin home reflects the architectural changes that Isenhour had already successfully employed on Lakeside Drive and Bridgeport Drive. The flat roof, low slung profile still maintains his trademark stonework.

Apologies for the poor photography, but this home deserves to be seen in person anyway. The Glendover neighborhood is a great place to spend an hour walking or biking and viewing some extraordinary homes.

Long on everyone’s midcentury radar, this Isenhour designed home on Breckenwood Drive is the closest thing Lexington has had to a midcentury modern flip during this economy. Many local architecture fans toured this home during both offerings in 2008 and 2009 to appreciate (and sometimes denigrate) the changes made. It is a beautiful home. The “twin” next door at 3220 Breckenwood is also worth a look and has already been featured on kymodern.
